"Join my reader list."

Hi, call me Evelynrosa—a poet and novelist who believes in the power of words to move hearts, spark minds, and rewrite the stories we tell ourselves.

Writing, for me, is an act of courage—a way to carve light from the shadows, to name the unspoken, and to find beauty in life’s raw, unfiltered moments. Whether it’s a whispered poem, a slice-of-life essay, or a bold short story, I write to connect, to heal, and to remind you: your voice matters.

My work lives in the spaces between strength and vulnerability, between the ordinary and the extraordinary. I write for the dreamers, the overthinkers, and the quiet observers—for anyone who has ever found solace in a sentence or courage in a metaphor.
If you’ve ever felt unseen, if you’ve ever clutched a book to your chest like a lifeline, or if you’ve ever needed words to carry you through—I’m writing for you.

Feel the gentle waves...
listen to the whispered lines.

You’re Invited to the Quiet Rebellion of a Book Club

Imagine this:
A Thursday evening. The world outside is all noise and haste, but here—here there’s a circle of chairs, a cup of something warm in your hands, and the weight of a well-loved book in your lap. Someone sighs and says, “I never expected that chapter to wreck me like it did,” and suddenly, you’re not just reading a story anymore. You’re living inside it together.

This is what I want for us.
I’ve always believed books are meant to be passed like secrets between friends—dog-eared, underlined, with margins scribbled “THIS! Exactly this.” So let’s gather, you and I and whoever else needs this: a place where prose feels like a lifeline and characters become our shared ghosts. We’ll pick stories that sting or sing or split us open to wonder. We’ll argue about endings (was it hopeful or heartbreaking?). We’ll laugh when someone admits they skipped ahead to the last page (we’ve all done it).

Here’s how it begins:
Whisper “I’m in” [link]. I’ll send you our first book—something lush or daring or so tender it hums.
Read at your pace. No quizzes, no deadlines—just the joy of a story settling into your bones.
Meet me under the virtual porch light. We’ll talk like old friends, because isn’t that what book people are? Strangers until the first “Wait, did you also think—?”

Our first story?
[I'M A Little Book With Big Secrets], where “a grief-stricken immigrant worker survived cancer twice and moved on from broken marriage."

Come as you are.
Bring your skepticism or your sticky notes or your worn-out heart. We’ll turn the pages together.

Let’s begin here: [link]
